Relatório de colheita de 2019 Nova Zelândia Geral
A warm summer and the absence of major weather incidents, has contributed to a superb 2019 vintage. Although the harvest with its 413,000 tonnes is smaller than anticipated, the quality is exceptional. New Zealand's vintage therefore, can be described with the following words: "Small but stunning".
Marlborough
Some say this year's vintage could be Marlborough's best vintage yet. An excellent ripeness, perfect sugar-acid balance and great concentrations can be expected. A warm and damp spring followed by a dry summer that remained throughout the season resulted in a great balance within the grapes.
Central Otago
After an unstable start of the season, with heavy rain and cold periods, fruit set in December was good. Moreover, after average weather in January, the following months were perfect with adequate heat during days and cool nights. Great quality wines can be expected.
